Elizabeth Latham '20 Published in BYU "Aporia" Journal

Elizabeth Latham '20 recently received word from the undergraduate journal for philosophy Aporia at Brigham Young University that a paper of hers has been published by that journal.

The Aporia staff adds "Remarkably, this (2020) is the 30th year that the Aporia has been published. This would, as far as I am aware, make the Aporia the longest running undergraduate journal of philosophy in existence within the United States."

Read her essay here. It is titled "One Nature Under God, and Divisible:Augustine’s “Duality of Man” Applied to the Creation Stories of Genesis"

Elizabeth Latham is set to graduate from Cornell in May of 2020. She is a double major in philosophy and religious studies, with a minor in music. She plans to continue on to graduate studies after a gap year with a service organization in New York City. She is especially interested in formal logic, religious philosophy, and the intersection of the two.

Congratulations, Elizabeth!
