Research Focus
I primarily work in metaphysics, with a focus on the metaphysics of grounding, causation, and the social sciences. In a pair of papers, I develop a new theory of properties in terms of their roles in metaphysical grounding. In other papers I investigate the metaphysics of the social, including how groups persist through time and the causal underpinnings of social-scientific explanations. I have taught classes covering epistemology, feminist philosophy, philosophy of science, and ethics.
